About the Center for Taiji and Qigong Studies
Using T’ai Chi and Qigong in randomized control trials, the Center for Taiji and Qigong Studies (CTQS) has conducted research that supports their utility in improving strength, balance, immune function, cognition, sleep and mood. Current research has examined the effect of T’ai Chi and Qigong on back pain in collaboration with the Center for Comprehensive Spine Care at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York Medical College.
